Introduction

What is Amcademy?

Amcademy is an online training site for the asset management industry. Courses are made up of short lessons, each with a quiz at the end.

Who are we?

Amcademy was founded in 2016 by Niklas and Ryan to share their experience of private equity and hedge fund technology and operations. Our instructors have backgrounds in fund accounting, financial analysis and software implementation.

What are the key features?

Courses organized into modules of short lessons, each with an estimated time to complete.
A quiz at the end of every lesson, with an explanation for each answer.
A final exam and case study for complete courses, graded against a pass mark.
With a free account: saved progress and quiz results, and a dashboard that takes you to your next lesson.

Does Amcademy work on mobile devices?

Yes. Amcademy runs in your web browser on desktop, tablet and phone, with no app to install. When you're logged in, your progress is saved to your account, so you can start a course on one device and continue on another.

Why should I choose Amcademy?

Our courses focus on asset management specifically. Each lesson is short, shows how long it takes, and ends with a quiz that explains the answers, so you can fit learning around your work and check your understanding as you go.

Is my data secure?

We only store what's needed to run your account: your email address, your password in hashed form (never the password itself), and your course progress and quiz results. If you have questions about your data, contact us.

Payments

Is there a free plan?

You can create a free account to track your progress and save your quiz results, and the first lesson of every course is a free preview. See our plans and pricing for paid plans.

What are the available payment options?

We don't take payments online yet. If you're interested in a paid plan, contact us and we'll help you get set up.

Can multiple people use my account?

Each account belongs to one person, since your progress and quiz results are personal. For more than one learner, see the team plans on our pricing page.
